I hope you've had a great couple of weeks. Sorry it's been awhile since my last Friday update but between snow days and conferences I've attended I haven't been in the office as much. When I have been here, I have enjoyed being in classrooms watching students figure out prefixes on their own and justifying their solutions to their classmates in math class.
I also really enjoyed the two conferences I attended. The first one was about Math and last week was about a variety of issues children are facing today. Most of the morning was on technology and some of the issues surrounding children and tech usage. This is a topic I feel is becoming more and more important for us to discuss. So, on March 26th at Ockerman Middle School, our FRC will be coordinating with several schools to host an informational night for parents. More details will be coming soon but please mark your calendars to join us on this evening!
I hope everyone has a great weekend and I am hoping we have seen the last of the snow for this year so I will see my Bobcats Monday!
