I hope everyone enjoyed their winter break. It is crazy how different the weather is this first week back compared to last year when we had an additional week off due to snow! Even though it's sunny and 60 degrees today, don't forget we are in the season of crazy weather that could impact school. Pay close attention to weather and alerts from Boone County Schools on possible delays or closures throughout the next three months.
It has been a great first week back to school. The students all came back ready to learn and it's been a very happy building having everyone back! We have really been working on our attendance over the last few years and I'm happy to say that we currently have more students with perfect attendance for the year than we've had since Covid - 26 students! Regular attendance is vital to school success and I'm hopeful all the students with perfect attendance now will be able to maintain that for the year!
I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will see my Bobcats back in class Monday morning!
