Yealey Families,
I hope everyone had a nice fall break. I'm not sure we could have had much better weather. I got lots of time with family and at home which was very nice. This week we had a lots of learning packed into four days. I read a great book to some 4th graders called The Stranger and watched them look for text clues to make an inference to figure out who the stranger really was. They then wrote stories of their own giving clues in their text that I can't wait to read and figure out!
Tomorrow our PTA will be hosting our Fall Festival from 1:00 - 4:00. Please come support their efforts and enjoy the beautiful day we are supposed to have. The event will include games, petting zoo, crafts, bounce houses, and trunk or treat for free. There is no admission charge but we do ask for a monetary or food donation to our FRC. There will be a vendor fair and food trucks in the new bus loop with items available for purchase.
I hope everyone enjoys the weekend,
Mrs. Turner
